There are three elements to the TAB Gear Sling, they are the front, center and rear sections. The front section of the sling is used to shoot slung up. This can be done connected to the rest of the sling or not. The TAB Gear sling has a slider that can move easily to lock down the loop on the shooters arm.
The center of the TAB Gear Sling is where the shooter adjusts the sling for the overall carry length. The section can be removed and connected to itself for easy storage allowing the remaining two sections of the sling to attach like a carry strap with shooting loop still in place. The two buckles allow the shooter to get out of the sling quickly, regardless of how you sling the rifle there is an accessible buckle that can be unclipped in order to get the rifle into action quickly. In a military of law enforcement application, the buckles allow the removal of a rifle from an injured or incapacited shooter.
The rear section of the sling is a 5″ section of webbing that is three layers triple stitched to create a stiff section that can be used as a hasty rear support.
